Soak – Lentils in warm water for 20 minutes, then strain.
Cook – Onions & Add Spice Mix 1 in a large pot over medium heat until onions are translucent.
Add Tomatoes & Spice Mix 2, cook until the tomatoes soften.
Add – Lentils & Water, bring to a boil.
Simmer – Reduce heat, cover. Simmer about 30 minutes, until the lentils are tender.
Optional — Add salt to taste or garnish with cilantro.
